Fallacies.

when reading the assignment to find fallacies in articles, the first place that I went to were the news outlets. The first place I went to was Fox News where I found a piece that was done by Tucker Carlson a profoundly popular news anker. in his article Tucker uses a tactic that uses language meant to make the audience laugh and be concerned. he uses emotions a great amount but he does also use logic a decent amount as well. making comments like "a lie the was too absurd to stand, even by the standards of 2023" or comparing the Biden administration to "5 year old's with icing on their faces".

Another article I found is by Chris Cillizza with CNN. When I read the article it had a fallacy with in the first sentence. calling the current sitting president Donald Trump "the Furor" using this language is a tactic to entice fear and anger with the president and the current administration.

The last article I read was by Tom Stafford with the BBC. In the article Tom repeatedly refers to propaganda and shows the quote "Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth"- Joseph Goebbels. in the article the article repeatedly refers to Nazi propaganda (this is because the Nazis had a very effective form of propaganda but so did the allied nations). This causes a fear of propaganda not just a concern of the practice of propaganda but full fear.
